Motion Poster

Motion Graphic – Spring 2022

This is a conceptual motion poster for a Royal Blood concert. The poster is based on lyrics from their album Typhoons. The lyrics that were focused on were, “Raging on behind my eyes” from Typhoons and “It's gettin' harder to see, What goes on and on, On and on, On the inside of me” from Who Needs Friends. The first lyric led to the focus of the illustration being on the eye as well as using the flame in the eye to represent rage. The second lyric inspired the idea to represent the muscular system around the eye, this gave the poster a more intense and gruesome concept that is sometimes associated with rock posters.
